The Mangroves of Magdalena Bay
The Mangroves along Magdalena Bay provide an important sanctuary for wildlife.

Below, Carlos, our guide and son of the owner, Tim, paddles a kayak, and Jackie looks at the mangroves from the front
of a double kayak.
What makes these mangroves so different from most mangroves is that behind them is a cactus forest.
The mangroves is filled with
diverse bird life.
