Seward

We were much more impressed with Seward over Homer. In Seward we decided to take a small boat tour of the wildlife.

There had been no Orcas at Seward this summer, but they were there to greet us, three pods at once.

male Orca.
We had Tufted Puffin (right) and
Horned Puffin (below)
We saw double crested cormorants.
Jackie was the first to sight the Humpbacks. Whereas the puffins are very shy of humans and are hard to get close to, a
Humpback rising out of the water did not phase them at all.
The scenery was phenomenal.
