Morse Creek

After the Snow Melt and Rain
What a difference less than three
weeks can make. Below, Morse Creek
on December 21 at the Rail Road
trestle and at the right the Creek
today.
Just one tree down between Morse
Creek and the Strait. Wet ground,  lazy
root growth, and big winds; typical of
this area.

The impact of the strong winds could
be seen on the strait. We did not try to
walk along the strait as the wind and
waves made walking along  the water
look unpleasant and possibly
hazardous.
And just a little bit of calm (below),
again, quite a difference from three
weeks ago (right).
Below, looking up river from the trestle to the Highway 101 bridge.
