Ushuaia
This was our ship, the Sea Spirit. It has room for 120 passengers, but fortunately for us there were only 52 passengers on
our trip.
Our ship was the first ship of the season, so the City of Ushuaia sent a band and dancers to serenade us as we departed.
This is the view of the city of Ushuaia and the port where we departed for South Georgia.
Spend at least a couple days in Ushuaia. Rent a car and look for wildlife.

My recommendation for a place to stay in Ushuaia is the Tango B&B. It is priced at 25% of the price of the major hotels.
The hosts are friendly and they will help you arrange a car rental. The B&B is a few blocks from downtown Ushuaia. You
should be in good walking condition as the hike back to the B&B is up a steep hill
