Skagit Valley Tulips
The climate in our area is unusually good for tulips and other bulb plants because the weather is
mild all year and changes very slowly in the spring. Hence, tulips here last longer than anywhere
else in the US. These are pictures we took in spring 2004 when we went to the Skagit Valley which is
a little north and east of Port Angeles.
The flowers (below) that Jackie planted lasted for weeks last spring.
