West Coast National Park
South Africa
September 27, 2008
Today Jackie and I drove our rental car (left side of the road) from Cape Town to the West Coast National Park which is about
90 + minutes from Cape Town. It was an amazing experience. It was something that we did without a guide. We have never had
such a rewarding one day trip to any national park.

The first to greet us to the park were the Ostrich followed shortly by a Duiker which was about 2 1/2 feet high.
We saw an amazing variety of birds.
Left Ibis. Below, Ibis taking off.
The Atlantic Coast and the wild flowers were spectacular.
The wildlife was varied and awesome.
What a day. What a beautiful place.
