Elephants
We were riding up the river with our guide when all of a sudden he turned up the
motor to full power. There was a group of elephants crossing the river.
Our presence was not well received. The elephants turned toward us and trumpeted and waved their trunks and ears in
a menacing way.
One of my favorite animals was the little wart hog. They were among the shiest of
the animals we encountered. How they survive all the predators was a mystery to
me.
